TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.DEFINITIONS

1.1 The “Seller” is defined as the legal entity Natasha Allwood Cakes. The “Buyer” means the person (legal or natural) who buys the goods.

1.2 “Goods” is defined as the items to be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer as listed in this invoice.

2.GENERAL

2.1 These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the sale of the Goods by the Seller to the Buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions referred except where the Seller has agreed to such variation in writing and by way of signature.

2.2 By ordering from Seller you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Conditions) and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time.

3. PRICE QUOTATIONS

3.1 All price quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.

4.CONSULTATION & TASTING SESSIONS

4.1 Consultation and tasting sessions are by appointment only and are only applicable to wedding cake orders.

4.2 An appointment for a consultation and tasting must be agreed with the Seller and a non-refundable consultation fee must be paid prior to the consultation date before it can be confirmed.

4.3 The cost of the consultation will be deducted from the cost of your cake when you place the order.

5.CAKE ORDERS - CHARGES AND PAYMENTS

5.1 When placing an order, a 6 month lead time for wedding cakes, 6 weeks lead time for hand carved cakes and for all other cakes a 2 week lead time is preferred, although orders may be accepted at short notice so please do get in touch.

5.2 A 50% deposit of the total cost is required to secure your cake order. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.

5.3 The final balance is due the day before collection or delivery.

5.4 Failure to make the final payment may result in your order being cancelled.

6.ALLERGENS

6.1 All of our cakes contain WHEAT FLOUR (GLUTEN), EGGS and MILK, and may contain SOYA and SULPHITES. and all of our products are made in a kitchen that handles NUTS and OTHER ALLERGENS. Please state any dietary requirements you may have at the time of ordering and you will be advised accordingly.

7.NON-EDIBLE ITEMS

7.1 Please note that on occasion it is necessary to secure decorations or multi-tiered cakes with non-edible items. You will be advised accordingly upon collection or delivery of your cake order.

8.PRODUCT INFORMATION

8.1 The images on the website are examples of our cakes. Variations in appearance will occur because each cake is handmade and may look different to the photos if the cake you need is a different size to the one in the image.

8.2 Any cakes ordered from a picture or a photo that is not a cake made by the Seller, will only be reproduced as our interpretation of that cake.

9.CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

9.1 Every effort will be made to accommodate changes to an order but this will depend on the notice period.

9.2 The final cost may change depending on these amendments but you will be advised accordingly.

9.3 Changes to the date required will be subject to availability.

9.4 Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings for the same date.

9.5 Cancellations will be accepted up to 6 weeks in advance for wedding cakes, 2 weeks in advance for hand carved cakes and 1 week in advance for all other cakes.

9.6 Any orders paid in full before the cancellation period will be refunded excluding the deposit. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order.

10.COLLECTION AND DELIVERY

10.1 All cake orders should be collected either the day before or the morning of the required date between Monday and Saturday.

10.2 A delivery service is available, during business opening hours. Please include the delivery post code with your enquiry for a price.

10.3 Orders can also be delivered direct to a venue and set up for a small charge but is included for all wedding cake and dessert table orders.

10.4 Collections and deliveries can be made by special arrangement outside of the business hours including Sunday. Please ask when placing your order.

10.5 We will always try to deliver within the given time slot, however unfortunately delivery timings cannot be guaranteed.

10.6 If in the unlikely event the delivery is delayed, we will always try to deliver the cake to you as close as possible to the given delivery time. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries.

11.DAMAGES

11.1 All cakes bought from the Seller require care and attention when handling, storing, and displaying. Please pay careful attention to the storage and transportation instructions provided with the cake.

11.2 We cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products we have delivered once we have delivered or delivered and set up the cake at the venue or delivery location.

11.3 If the cake or products are collected from us, we cannot be held liable for any damages to the cake or products once they have left our premises. You should ensure that your cake order is securely transported on a flat surface and not able to move around to avoid sustaining any damage.

11.4 In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, it is the customer’s responsibility to report the damage to us immediately and send photographic evidence of the damage within 24 hours if you wish to claim a repair or refund.

12.CAKE STORAGE

12.1 The cakes are baked and decorated as close to the required date as possible. You will be advised how to store your cake to preserve its shelf life upon collection/delivery.

12.2 The Seller is not responsible for the storage of your cake order once it has left the premises.

14.COMPLAINTS

14.1 If you wish to make a complaint to us or let us know any concerns after receiving the Goods, please do so in writing to enquiries@natashaallwoodcakes.com. Evidence of any faults, damages or discrepancies should be included. Any refunds will be given entirely at our discretion.
